The recommended number of persons on this boat is 6 + skipper, but, if needed, two more persons can sleep in the very comfortable salon.
New Lagoon 42 possesses all well known features of the Lagoon catamarans, now technically improved and newly designed. What makes difference between this boat and its ancestors, is its curvaceous shape, especially around the cabin house and the peaks. Bended vertical windows are designed to reduce the heat inside the boat.
Designer of the Lagoon 42, Patrick Le Quement, who is primarily designer of racing hulls, has added some racing characteristics to the this boat: he has slimmed this boat down, centered the weight by setting mast aft, made boom shorter and mast taller. Also, Lagoon 42 is proud to have Code 0 spirit.
